From Brooklyn, NY, to the frontlines of hip-hop and radio, Jay7 is the definition of unstoppable. A U.S. Army Combat Infantry Veteran, DJ, entrepreneur, and artist, he’s built a career that blends passion, perseverance, and pure talent.
His love for music runs deep—it’s in his blood. As the grandson of legendary singer, musician, and actor Adam Wade, Jay7 was born into a legacy of pioneers. But he didn’t just inherit the name—he made his own mark.
In 2006, he took a different stage, serving in the U.S. Army and stepping into combat to protect and defend. After six years of dedicated service, he returned to civilian life ready to make waves in the industry.
That moment came in 2010, when he became the first active-duty soldier to host a mainstream urban FM radio show—WFXE Foxie 105 in Columbus, GA. For five years, Jay7 kept the city lit, bringing exclusive interviews, breaking records, and setting trends.
But radio was just the beginning. In 2015, he took things to the next level, launching Lagrand Records, where he signed and mentored six artists, proving his ear for talent and business vision.
When the world hit pause in 2020, Jay7 hit play—stepping from behind the booth to the mic as an artist. His debut single “Autobahn” dropped on September 28, 2020—marking a new chapter in his unstoppable journey.
Beyond music, Jay7 is a media mogul in the making. He co-founded Seven On Demand, a television network built to redefine entertainment.
Now, Jay7 is back on the airwaves, bringing his industry expertise, real talk, and undeniable energy to Poppin 90.3 FM. Whether he’s spinning records, hosting, or putting artists on game, one thing is clear—he’s untouchable.
